Acer Predator X32 FP and Predator X32

As the name indicates, both the Predator X32 and X32 FP are 32-inch 4K IPS monitors with largely similar specifications. These include a 1 ms G-to-G response time, a 1000:1 native contrast ratio,

400 nits SDR and 1,200 nits HDR peak brightness, and 99% of Adobe RGB coverage with a Delta E color accuracy of <2. However, both panels offer only an 8-bit color depth.

There is a difference in refresh rates supported by both models depending on the interface used.

The Predator X32 can do 4K 120 Hz via HDMI 2.0 and 4K 160 Hz via DisplayPort 1.4. The Predator X32 FP, on the other hand, can do native 4K 160 Hz and up to 165 Hz in overdrive mode.

Acer said that both these panels are VESA DisplayHDR 1000-certified and offer a 576-zone mini-LED local dimming zones.

The Predator X32 supports Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate and Nvidia Reflex while the Predator X32 FP also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro as it can be connected to consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X.

The Predator X32 FP offers four HDMI 2.1 ports while X32 makes do with three HDMI 2.0 ports.

A USB Type-C port with 90 W power delivery is also available in the X32 FP along with integrated speakers, which the Predator X32 lacks.

The Predator X32 will be available in China this month starting from RMB 12,999, in EMEA in Q2 2022 from €1,899, and in North America in Q3 2022 from US$1,999.

 Alienware 25 AW2521H Monitor

There’s an elephant in this high refresh rate monitor round-up. And it’s the inevitable question of diminishing returns. When, exactly, do they kick in? 165Hz? 240Hz?

How about 360Hz? Oh yes, this updated Alienware 25 is good for the full 360. In purely experiential and subjective terms, it’s not easy to separate it from otherwise similar 1080p IPS monitors that hum along at a comparatively pedestrian 240Hz refresh. They all feel swift.

The Alienware 25 also supports Nvidia’s Reflex Latency Analyzer, which helps you fine-tune input lag with millimetric precision. Provided you have a compatible mouse and an Nvidia graphics card, that is, and that you are playing a game that supports it.

Best 24-inch monitor 2022 List

I’ll be honest. It’s not the best option to game on since it falls in the middle. But this is the sweet spot if you want something better than the 60Hz experience. Depending on the current scenario, you should definitely invest in a 75Hz monitor. It’s the perfect way to switch to high refresh rate gaming.

24 inches tends to be the most comfortable size for regular desktops, although 27 inches is widely used for high resolution monitors.

Pretty much anything above 27 inches is too large for viewing up close at a desk. For general office work, 23-24″ monitor is pretty standard.
